Free rural camps :
GWCC has conducted free camps in Somanur & Gobichettipalayam. In each camp we had around 250 patients. All the women had free health checkups, papsmears, blood tests and ultrasound and we distributed medicines at free of cost to all of them. Our forthcoming camp is in Thondamuthur on April 6th.
Health Education Programme :
We are focusing mainly on adolescent health. We have visited many schools in and around coimbatore and created awareness about health among school students and also we have educated them about adolescent sexual problems.
Recently our HOD Dr.Suma Natarajan gave a talk on "Women's Health" in a meeting organized by an insurance company as a part of women's day celebration.
