Ganga Medical Speciality Centre was founded in 1978 by Dr. J. G. Shanmuganathan and Mrs. Kanakavalli Shanmuganathan. It became a speciality centre for trauma, orthopaedics and plastic surgery, and has expanded its commitment to women and child care.
Ganga Women and Child Care was inaugurated in June 2007 and functions under the able leadership of Dr. Suma Natarajan with a dedicated team of doctors. This centre has a bed strength of 135.
The centre purposes to be a centre of excellent obstetric, gynaecologic and paediatric care in this part of our country.
