About the centre
Built on the Ganga Hospital Legacy
Ganga Hospital was founded in 1978 by Dr. J. G. Shanmuganathan and Mrs. Kanakavalli Shanmuganathan. The hospital later became a speciality centre for trauma, orthopaedics and plastic surgery, and now extends that commitment to women and child care.
Ganga Women and Child Care was inaugurated in June 2007 and functions under the leadership of Dr. Suma Natarajan with a dedicated team of doctors.
